Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating an early-morning homicide on Indianapolis' South Side. Investigators say a clerk at the Village Pantry in the 1400 block of South Meridian was found dead early Saturday morning.

The 32-year-old boyfriend of a homicide victim is now being questioned in connection with her death. Metro Police say Robert Sarver voluntarily came to the IMPD Homicide Office for questioning in the death of Deneisha Watford.

Desmond Turner has been served with a life sentence without the possibility of parole along with 88 years in jail.

On Friday morning, at approximately 5:14 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers were called to the Dunkin Doughnuts at 48 E Washington Street on the report of a robbery.

"The window knocked out of my dad's van and some stuff taken." Jack Christenberry says he was shocked to find the damage left behind from the burglary, including another car with a busted out window, but says he was quickly relieved the suspects were arrested next door.
