Edward Moody (FOX59, WXIN-TV) |
Edward Moody joined Fox59 in December 2010. Before taking on duties here as Weekend Anchor/Reporter, Edward was an Anchor/Reporter at 13WHAM-TV in Rochester NY and a Morning Anchor in Duluth, MN before that.
Edward was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Degree in Communication Studies. Over the course of his career Edward has covered everything from a mass school shooting in northern Minnesota to the disappearance of IU student Lauren Spierer.
Edward has had the journalism “bug” since age 10 years-old when he was hired as an Anchor/Reporter for the nationally syndicated, Emmy Award winning kids magazine show The What’s Up Network. At such a young age Edward interviewed such notables as Caroline Kennedy (daughter of President John F. Kennedy), Desert Storm Commander Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf and Martin Luther King III.
After spending the past 3 years out east, Edward is happy to be back in the Midwest. “There’s just a different pace here and Hoosiers are genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.”
