Coming to the FOX 59 MORNING NEWS Team is a homecoming for Sherman Burdette! Sherman is originally from Indianapolis and attended School #43, Broad Ripple High School and graduated from Ball State University. He is thrilled to be back home in Indiana!
Sherman’s goal in the morning as the Feature Reporter is to give Fox 59 viewers a little somethin’ to smile about or laugh at (usually him)… and hopefully save viewers a buck or two with the Does It Work feature on Wednesdays.
Working in various roles in TV across the country Sherman has been an Anchor, Sports Anchor, Reporter, Feature Reporter, Consumer Reporter, Producer, Photographer, and Editor. He started out as an Intern at WTTV 4 and he has worked in Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Mississippi before coming full circle to where he started.
Sherman is a certified group fitness instructor. Shopping is his favorite hobby! What Sherman loves most about his job is meeting and interacting with people. His motto in life and work is to have fun! If he can put a smile on someone’s face or make them laugh, life is good!
