Who's Eligible?
Right now, only the " flu mist" vaccine is available in Hancock County. This vaccine is approved for patients 2 through 49 as long as they meet the following conditions:
- Not pregnant
- Healthy, no health conditions that could compromise their vaccination.


Restrictions:
Until more vaccines become available, Hancock Regional Hospital will only be administering the flu mist to the patients meeting the following conditions:
- Healthy children 2 years old up to school age (School age children will have the vaccine available at school through the county health department)
- Healthy individuals 18-24
- Persons 25 through 49 who are healthy and


a) Live with or care for infants younger than 6 months, or


b) work in the health care or emergency medical profession
