The Indiana State Department of Health said Wednesday that five of the new cases were in Marion County, three in Lake County and one in Hamilton County.

The agency also says one more person has been hospitalized in Indiana with the swine flu, but that person has been discharged from the hospital and is now symptom-free. That case brings to five the number of people who have been hospitalized in Indiana with the virus and released.

Across the nation, most people getting the illness have been young. Two-thirds of Indiana's swine flu cases have been in people between the ages of 5 and 24.
