The Columbus Police Department is searching for a suspect in an armed robbery of a Dollar General Store on Monday.
Officers were dispatched to the store, located at 4130 W. Jonathan Moore Pike, in reference to an armed robbery report at approximately 9 p.m.
Employees told police the suspect was a man in his mid to late 20’s, had a medium build and wore a black jacket, blue jeans and a hat. The three employees said the suspect demanded money and pulled out a black handgun.
The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said no customers were in the store at the time of the robbery and the employees were not injured.
