A corrections officer has agreed to plead guilty to forcing prostitutes to perform sexual favors back in Nov. 2011.
Scott Downin, 32, was arrested after being accused of intimidating defendants who were court ordered to perform community service. According to a probable cause affidavit, Downin would allow prostitutes to perform sexual favors when they were supposed to be working off community service hours.
The sex-related acts led to five felony charges including criminal deviate conduct, sexual misconduct, sexual battery and one misdemeanor charge of public indecency.
Graphic details included in the probable cause detail the testimony of two prostitutes who claim Downin forcibly touched their genitals and showed his penis while they were supposed to be working outside Gleaners Food Bank near the Indianapolis International Airport.
Downin, a former Marion County Sheriff's Department employee, was also accused of orchestrating work details so that he would be with those who had been charged and sentenced as prostitutes.
Downin reportedly told a fellow employee that he was not worried because he had the judge in "his pocket."
His guilty plea hearing is set for Friday.
