Laporte child suffers from 'meth mouth'
A Hoosier couple faces charges after their 6-year-old daughter tested positive for methamphetamine.

Doctors say the Laporte girl is suffering from a condition called 'meth mouth' caused by breathing vapors from the chemicals used to make meth.

Symptoms include sores and rotting teeth. The girl was taken to the hospital where doctors found meth in her system.

The girls' parents are being held in Laporte County jail.
