Ball State Tuition Increases
Ball State University is proposing a tution and fees increase of about 4.2% for the coming school year, a slightly smaller hike than those planned other public universities in Indiana.

Under Ball State's proposal, in-state undergraduate students would play an extra $329 for 2009-10, or a total of about $7,830 for the academic year.

The school's trustees are scheduled to set the new rates at their July 24th meeting. A school spokesman says the tuition portion of students' bill would go up to 3.26%, below the 4% increase limit requested by the State Commission for Higher Education.
