Former Prosecutor Carl Brizzi returns $170K he received from Tim Durham

Recently published records show Brizzi returned $170,000 to the trustee handling Durham's bankruptcy case.

Former Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi is squared away when it comes to campaign money donated by disgraced financier Tim Durham.

Recently published records show Brizzi returned $170,000 to the trustee handling Durham’s bankruptcy case.   

Brizzi relied heavily on Durham’s support for his campaign for prosecutor. He also served on the board of directors for Durham's company, Fair Finance.

Other Indiana Republicans, including Governor Mitch Daniels, have also returned money from Durham.
