15-year-old charged with owning child pornography

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with owning child pornography after pictures of two naked female classmates were found on his cell phone. Authorities were tipped off after Portage school administrators were told by a mother of one of the girls the boy had threatened to post the photos on Myspace if her daughter didn't lend him a musical instrument.

The boy claims the girls sent him the photos and he never threatened to post them. He is locked up in the Porter County Juvenile Detention Center.
