"Flesh" found in landfill where police searched for Carmel teen

According to Fox41, prosecutors in the Andrew Compton case said "flesh" was found in a Medora landfill, the location where police searched to find Compton's body.

Louisville, Ky.

The man accused of killing an 18-year-old Carmel man appeared in court for a pre-trial Friday morning, and a shocking discovery was announced by the prosecutors.

According to Fox41 in Louisville, prosecutors in the Andrew Compton case said “flesh” was found in a Medora landfill, the location where police searched to find Compton’s body.

Gregory O’Bryan, 40, is charged with murder, sodomy and abuse of a corpse.  O’Bryan is accused of killing Compton in October 2010.  Compton was living in Louisville, Ky. and was a student at Sullivan University. 

O’Bryan told detectives Andrew died while they were having sex and he put Compton’s body in a cardboard television box and threw it out in the dumpster.

Fox41 reported the flesh will undergo DNA testing.

O’Bryan’s next pretrial is March 30 at 9:15 a.m.
