Indianapolis—
An Indianpaolis man is in the hospital after being shot in an attempted robbery.
It happened just before 8:00 p.m. in the 400 block of north Oxford, Friday night.
The victim answered the door and tried to shut it when he realized it wasn't anyone he knew.
That's when the gunman opened fire. The suspect fled in a car from the scene.
A neighbor called 9-1-1 and the man was transported from the scene.
