Metro Police search for bakery carjacker

"Someone just like, took my car," says victim Shatoya Conway.

Conway says a homeless man wearing wet clothing stole outside of Long's Bakery matches the same descripton as the 1999 silver dodge stratus, plus the driver's side damage, sitting in front of Conway's home on West Walnut Street.

Conway told police she was carjacked outside the long-time community fixture, though surveillance cameras must have missed all the action.

Bakery owner Dennis Rinehart says, "I've been all the way back 24-hours so I just couldn't find anything.  Only people coming and going."
