IMPD Officer David Bisard, accused in the fatal crash that killed Eric Wells and seriously injured two others, is no longer asking for legal help from the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).Previously, the FOP said he had asked for legal assistance but withdrew his request during a meeting Thursday night.
Some of the officers who were demoted because of the Bisard investigation still want legal assistance rom the FOP. Many members said they were angry with the way Indianapolis Public Safety Director Dr. Frank Straub has handled the investigation.
