The presentation will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Monroe County Public Library, 303 E. Kirkwood Avenue. This presentation will provide the public an opportunity to hear about the work performed for the study and its final recommendations on how to improve transportation on the north side of campus.

"This study has been underway for over a year and a great deal of effort has gone into analyzing the transportation challenges in this area," said Josh Desmond, City Assistant Planning Director. "We invite the public to attend this presentation in order to understand the methodologies employed and the conclusions reached for this important corridor in the community."

The City of Bloomington, IU and the Bloomington/Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization partnered on this important study. Gorove/Slade Associates, Inc. was hired to assist with the study and provide consulting services. The East 10thStreet corridor through campus has long been identified as a transportation challenge. Studies conducted as long ago as 1964 have recommended improvements to the area's mobility for all forms of travel. The findings of the 10th Street Mobility Study will serve as the foundation for implementing future transportation improvements throughout the corridor.
