Purdue student sets out to prove Iranian cleric wrong with "boobquake" experiment

A Purdue University student came up with a unique way to test out a claim made by a religious leader in Iran.

According to genetics major Jennifer McCreight, the cleric recently said that immodestly dressed women are sinners. He said that those women's actions are triggering earthquakes across the world.

So McCreight decided to test the theory by encouraging women to dress immodestly on Monday. She said 200,000 people on facebook agreed to take part in the experiment, which she humorously called "boobquake."

As of 6:00 p.m. Monday, no earthquakes had been reported in West Lafayette, Indiana.
