Threats at a Central Indiana high school prompt officials to take action Thursday night. Center Grove administrators will step up security at the high school in Greenwood Friday after vandalism in a bathroom referenced Columbine.

This past fall school officials discovered threatening graffiti in one of the bathroom stalls at Center Grove High School. The message was clear, "CG watch your back 4/23/10," and administrators thought it a strong enough threat to react. The graffiti also referenced Columbine, and for the past several months officials have been investigating.

On Friday students will notice an added police presence throughout the day. Officials say they've found no reason to believe the threat is anything more than an empty one, but they want students and teachers to feel safe.

"I'm going to be here. I'm going to be here early and stay late. If I had two children old enough at this point in time to be here at the high school, they would be at school with me tomorrow," said Center Grove High School Principal, Matt Shockley.

Most students say they'll be in class as well.

"I’m not sure. In my personal opinion I think that when I wake up in the morning - whatever I feel in my gut I’m just going to listen to it. If I feel like going to school tomorrow, I will. But if I feel like something funky is going to happen then I think I’m going to stay at home." said sophomore Natalie Adam.

"Ya, I don't want to miss class. I just with people would stop because it's pointless and it does no good,” said freshman Dorothy Slover.
