Despite a few more finishing touches, the signs are already clear, the city of Anderson is ready to once again host a Colt's training camp and everyone who comes with it.

Anderson University is the home of many "firsts" for the Colts. It's the first place the team held training camp after making the famous midnight move from Baltimore to Indianapolis. They were there through 1998, which was star quarterback Peyton Manning's first year.

Now the team is headed back to Anderson University after 12 years of holding camp at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute.

As they welcome back #18 for the first time since his rookie season, residents like Bob Edwards said there's no question where he'll be for the coming 18 days.

"Oh absolutely. I mean, I live here. Why would I not come out to this? It is just a great thing," said Edwards.

"I'm excited about them coming back. Hopefully it will bring in a lot more business," said Anna Bush with Gene's Rootbeer & Hot Dogs.

As a server, Bush said she is more concerned about how many Colts fans will be following the team north and grabbing a mug or a dog. The city hopes to draw 40,000 people, which could help give the city an economic boost of $4 million.

In order to keep everyone entertained there will be attractions like Colts City, which will go up next to the Colt's Pro Shop near the practice field. Hoosier Park Casino in Anderson is also cashing in, offering a tailgate lot and free shuttle service.

At Hoosier Park, they're getting ready for that tailgate party which will serve alcohol, something that you can't get at the University. However, if you plan to drink you can't take it in with you. Only alcohol bought in the tailgate area will be allowed.

"We want this to be a good experience for all the fans. Not just certain ones and certain types and we believe we're offering a range of activities for all types of fans and a high number of fans," said Mayor of Anderson, Kris Ockomon.

The increased traffic is only guaranteed for this season, so you can bet everyone here will also be trying to leave a lasting impression.

"I think it's just tradition. The Colts camp used to always be here and then when they moved away it was kind of during a time where everything was leaving, so I think it's good that they're coming back and hopefully they'll stay," said Bush.

Camp begins Sunday, and it's as much for the fans as for the team. For the team, it's back to work. For the fans, the feeling is like a big party coming to town. Anderson has spent millions over the past 10 years on new facilities. It's convenient for fans, just 40 miles from Indianapolis.

Admission to the camp is free but parking will cost you $10 at both the University and the Hoosier Park tailgating lot. The casino will offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from site.
