It’s a one stop place to discover consignment shops and what each has to offer. It’s called IndyResale.com.

Barbara Simonson is a customer of Consigning Women & Fine Furnishings on 96th Street. She says the store is "the best kept secret on the north side of Indianapolis. I come here almost three times a week.”

The shop is one of more than 15 stores now listed on IndyResale.com, a website showing consignment stores that sell gently used stuff, although it often looks new and the prices are fantastic. Fox59 found a high-end Ethan Allen dining room set normally listed for $6,870 selling for $2,960.

IndyResale.com lists the type of store, location, what their specialty is, whether they sell clothing, furniture or vintage goods. It also provides a shopper with the opportunity to see what's available in a geographical area. To make it easy stores are listed under Central, East, North, South & West, and alphabetically. You just pick where you'd like to buy or sell stuff, and go from there.

For sellers, you fill out the quick form on IndyResale.com. Then, most stores will keep your items for 90 days. For “Consigning Women”, there are 3 prices listed on the tag, along with the dates that each price will take effect. Those prices get crossed out, and just keep getting lower if the item doesn't sell.
Pam Kramer, the owner of Consigning Women & Fine Furnishings, says "there's a 30% markdown every 30 days. So if you're a gambler, or a stalker, and you're watching a piece for that mark-down day, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.”

If you sell an item, on average, you'll get about 50% of the sale price and the store gets 50%. And if you're a resale/consignment store owner and wish to be listed on IndyResale.com, just complete and submit the form on their website and they contact you.
