"Just Cookies" protest slated for Monday

Wow, I cannot believe the amount of ignorance, intolerance and stupidity on this blog. What a bunch of rednecks.

I wonder what would happen if a group from the KKK (not dressed in their white capes and hoods) decided to start a business and refused their service to blacks. WHY IS THIS A TOUCHY SUBJECT, but doing the same to homosexuals isn't?

And what would happen if I'm an atheist and start a business, but deny my services to Christians? We'd have a huge debate THEN, wouldn't we?

Where's the compassion and the ability to relate to a minority? It must be nice to think that just because you own a bible you have the right to make judgement on others. Live and let live people, leave your bibles and hatred at home and teach your children what you want, but get over the fact that "QUEERS" are everywhere and eventually you'll need their business too, especially the way our economy is going.

Your ignorant, derogatory comments won't change the fact that your son or daughter might be gay, and it most definitely won't change the fact that the gay community will win this battle against those against human rights and equal opportunity!
