The woman, identified as 35-year-old Denise Cochran, told school officials she was on pain pills. She then began to open her purse and pulled out six different prescription bottles in her name, for pain and depression.
Police arrived and administered a portable breath test. Cochran tested .158, nearly twice the legal limit. It was then, according to police, she admitted to drinking alcohol along with the pain medication. She was taken into custody and faces charges of public intoxication. As she was led out of the school, police gave Cochran a verbal warning not to trespass on Franklin Township school property unless prior arrangements have been made with the school.
