Dump truck hits overpass on Interstate 70

Engineers are inspecting the Cumberland Road overpass on I-70 after a dump truck crashed into it.

State Police say the dump truck hit the bridge around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The truck was traveling in the westbound construction zone on I-70 on the far east side of Marion County.

Upon impact of the overpass, the dump bed seperated from the truck, causing it to tumble about 50-feet down the highway.
