Indianapolis Metro Police say 56-year-old Richard Jacks called 911 Friday afternoon when his wife, Donna, went into cardiac arrest.The 54-year-old woman was pronounced dead at their home on Red Bush Drive.
Police arrested Jacks after detectives located destructive devices inside the home. Jacks has been arrested for 21 counts of possession of a destructive device for items found after the execution of the search warrant.
He is currently in Wishard Hospital where he was taken after falling ill after his interview with detectives. The explosive items were removed from the home along with weapons by Explosive Ordinance technicians.
Over 2 dozens cats were also removed from the home.
Neighbors say the couple were quiet and they seemed like nice people. However, James Manuel says something seemed strange lately. Manuel say, "We actually haven't seen her in about a month and a half. Normally we see them wave hey, how are doing? We just haven't seen her, but we always see him."
