Farmers are starting 2012 strong. Bloomberg is reporting American farmers will plant the most acres in a generation this year.
The planting will be led by the biggest corn crop since World War II.
A survey found that farmers will sow corn, soybeans and wheat on more than 226 million acres.
They are trying to take advantage of some of the highest agricultural prices the nation's has seen in the past 40 years.
