Ellettsville —
Police say a driver fled a traffic stop on State Road 46.  The pursuit ended with the driver losing control in a field.

Investigators say as they got close to the car, they heard a gunshot.  They believe the driver died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The Owen County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
