A $5,000 reward continues to be offered for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual responsible for robbing three Indianapolis area banks since October 30, 2009.
On November 25 at about 9:35 am, a lone black male, wearing a mask and bulky clothing and armed with a silver colored handgun, robbed the Fifth Third Bank located at 3515 East 96th Street. After entering the bank, the robber ordered the customers and employees to the ground and helped himself to an undisclosed amount of cash. He left the bank parking lot driving an Oldsmobile Alero, maroon in color.
This same individual is believed to have robbed the Flagstar Bank on 5610 East 71st Street on October 30 and the Key Bank at 2433 Lake Circle Drive on November 13, 2009. The subject wore the same mask and clothing during all three robberies.
The bank robber is described as a black male, 5'9" 5'10", 160 180 pounds, average build and dark complexion. The subject is considered Armed and Dangerous.
