INDIANAPOLIS —
A spokesperson for the U.S. attorney's office says the government has been given assurances that Tim Durham's assets including his luxury home and six bank accounts will not dissipate.

The lawsuit alleged that Durham carried out a Ponzi scheme, duping investors into believing their money would be put into low-risk, high yield short-term consumer debt.

Last week FBI agents raided Durham's office in Indianapolis and another in Ohio.
