Indianapolis—
A 16-year-old FFA member visiting Indianapolis last weekend for the organization's annual convention has died. The girl collapsed downtown at the convention center last Wednesday.Fox59 News learned the girl had experienced difficulty breathing but no cause of death has been released. She was a member of the Lawthrope Michigan FFA Chapter. Her advisor and other fellow chapter members were with her and called 911.
She passed away Monday around 2 p.m. at Methodist Hospital. We're told her parents were with her at the hospital the entire time. The teen's name has not been released.
