Greenwood dad arrested after son's basketball game

Police arrested a Greenwood dad for allegedly throwing his nine year-old son to the ground and threatening him after a basketball game. It happened after his son's team lost a game at Robey Elementary in Indianapolis (8200 West 30th Street).

Police were called to the school where 41 year-old Dana Forte told them he was simply trying to calm his son down after the team's loss. According to police, his wife, daughter, and his son told police that was not the case.

Witnesses backed up their story, telling police when the boy tried to get away, Forte forced him to the ground again. Police say the boy had scratches on his chest. Forte faces charges of battery. He was also told not to attend any more school events.
