Indianapolis—
On the north side of Indianapolis in the middle of the night, a disagreement between newlyweds ended with a wife getting pepper sprayed in bed.The woman's 35-year-old husband is accused of taking the spray that she uses for personal protection from her purse.
The 25-year-old woman told officers that she had gone to bed after having some friends over to the house on Arbor Lake Drive, but when her husband came home he did not approve of the gathering. That's when, she said, he filled her mouth and face with pepper spray.
The couple's two daughters were asleep in a nearby bedroom.
The husband left the scene Thursday morning before police arrived and has not yet been arrested.
