With more than 100,000 donors in 2010, the Indiana Blood Center employs more people than you might think.

"We have 450 staff people because that's what it takes to maintain a blood supply for the state," said Wendy Mehringer, Chief Marketing Officer.

Now, that number is set to grow. The organization is looking to build up its Marketing and Recruiting Department by hiring an e-marketing specialist. That person will reach out to the community, encouraging donors to come back.

"(We're) Very excited about finding somebody with that loyalty experience. Someone that understands you're working with your group of donors," said Mehringer. "105,000 people last year alone. How do we get those 105,000 people back just one more time?"

The Indiana Blood Center will accept resumes through December.

It's not just the Blood Center with job openings, though. Phenix Investigations is a national investigation firm, based in Greenwood. It's looking to add two new positions.

"We were excited about Fox59's Add One Job program and we put our minds together and tried to figure out what we could do that would be interesting," said Carl Mason, Executive Director.

One of the openings is for an internet market specialist. The other is for a research investigator. That job requires the employee to gather information for attorneys and companies involved in any legal cases.
