Have you found the perfect gift to give your special someone this Valentine's Day?
If you need an idea, the Humane Society of Indianapolis is offering a great deal! This Valentine’s Day, IndyHumane is lowering their adoption fees for several animals still up for adoption. For the selected animals, the shelter will drop the fee to $14 between February 10 and February 15.
“Some of the animals on this special are a little bit older and some have been at the shelter for longer than we would like,” said John Aleshire, CEO of IndyHumane. “We know that if we can get them into loving homes, they will thrive because no matter how good a shelter is, animals are just much happier in a home with a family that loves them. We want these deserving animals to feel that love this Valentine’s Day.”
The animals available for adoption are already spayed or neutered. On average, the shelter spends approximately $600 to $800 on each animal from the time they arrive to the time they are adopted.
