Police in Lafayette arrest a man after they say he attacked a county judge.
29 year-old Dale E. McGrew Jr. was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail. He accused of throwing a cup of coffee at Judge Michael Morrissey outside a downtown Lafayette business Monday.
Investigators say McGrew has several past arrests, but the judge told police he did not recognize the man. Police don't know why the suspect went after the judge.
Judge Morrissey was not seriously hurt or burned in the attack.
