Police investigate shooting at Kokomo bar

UPDATE: Police have arrested a suspect, 25 year-old Johnny E. Harris of Country Club Hills, Illinois. Harris is charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting of a man outside the Little Daddy's bar.

Kokomo police are investigating a shooting that occured at Little Daddy's located on South Home Avenue. A 9-1-1 call of shots fired came in just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.


A short time later, police said Howard Regional Health Systems told police a man came into the ER with gunshot wounds. The patient was identified as 30 year-old Ronald E. Johnson of Kokomo.

Police say Johnson was shot twice as he was leaving the bar, following an argument inside. Johnson was transferred to Methodist Hospital for further treatment and was in surgery later Tuesday morning.
