WEST LAFAYETTE —
Tuesday night, Lady Gaga took the stage for fans who've now driven twice to Purdue University to see her perform. They were excited as they waited in long lines, in the freezing cold with costumes, t-shirts, and crazy makeup.
"I hope she preforms this time," said fan Gaige Love.
Lady Gaga canceled her January 14th performance on the Purdue campus just moments before she was supposed to take the stage Her explanation via twitter was that she was sick. Oddly, she was well enough to perform "live" on an afternoon talk show the next day.
"I was very angry," said Tim Keating, who attended the concert.
"Even if my night wasn't open I would have come back, Hello! (laughs)," Danica Craig joked.
"Not mad at her, definitely not. She's so great to her fans. I'm glad she came back," said Sarah Wharton.
No love lost with fans Tuesday night. Despite the rescheduled concert, fans told Fox59 News their love for Gaga hadn't changed.
"She's unique and awesome and different from all the other artists out there," said Love.
"She's perfect in everyway. She is all I think about, " echoed Keating.
"I know her show is going to be outrageously awesome," agreed Craig.
It was a show everyone we spoke to said, was worth waiting for:
"Finally. I'm glad she came back." "Peace, Love, Gaga". "I love you Lady Gaga!"
The next stop on Lady Gaga's "Monster Ball Tour" is Dublin, Ireland.
