Lawmakers consider expanding K2 ban to include bath salts

A ban on the synthetic drug bath salts could be just around the corner.

A ban on the synthetic drug bath salts could be just around the corner.

Indiana legislators are considering banning the drug and other compounds that mimic marijuana.

The proposed bills add two dozen chemical compounds to a law that passed last year banning the synthetic marijuana known as Spice or K2.

The law makes consequences for processing or dealing the synthetic marijuana the same as the real drug.
