A Lebanon teacher and coach has been charged with child seduction. 53 year-old Robert Willhite, Jr. is accused of seducing a former student. The alleged victim's mother called police, complaining of inappropriate contact.

Many parents we spoke to say they're concerned and shocked, but not rushing to judge just yet.

"I don't know all the facts and I don't think everyone knows all the facts, leave it to the administration, leave it to them. I have every faith in the police and our local administration," said parent Diana Kincaid.

Fox59 News has learned Willhite apparently coached girls and boys' track and field. Debra Dant says he taught her child and she never noticed anything out of the ordinary.

"I'd hate to see a teacher's career be ruined because of something that I don't know anything about," said another parent, Debra Dant.

Investigators believe this was likely an isolated incident. Willhite faces two felony counts of child seduction.

Willhite's neighbor, Ed Hine, said he was stunned to learn about the allegation against the man who lives next door.

"He seems to be a real nice fella, and seemed to be a good teacher," said Hine.
