A Tipton County couple is lighting up the skies with a synchronized holiday show to benefit disadvantaged residents.

Michael Poulimas and Janet Crawford's 30-minute Sharpsville display features about 90,000 Christmas lights spread over two acres.

Nearly 200 computer controllers time the lights to music piped through a short-wave radio signal.

The display about 40 miles north of Indianapolis raises funds for the nonprofit group We Care through donations left in a box in the front yard.

The inaugural light show last year raised about $1,200 for the group to help disadvantaged residents.

Poulimas says he hopes the display brightens people's spirits during the holidays.
