Marion Co. deputy prosecuting attorney suspended for violating personnel policy

The deputy prosecuting attorney at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office (MCPO) was suspended Wednesday for conduct related to violations of internal MCPO policies.

MCPO’s communications director told Fox59 Marc Lundy’s suspension stemmed from an altercation between him and a detective, who is a member of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department. The MCPO said they are in the process of determining exactly what occurred.

Lundy’s suspicion will last until February 17.  However, it is unclear whether he will return to work after the suspension is complete.

The incident was not a criminal matter.
