Police: Missing man may have been forced inside van

Police said Michael White, 30, was last seen in the 600 block of South Dayton Avenue on January 4 around 11 p.m.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man who has been missing since early January. 

Police said Michael White, 30, was last seen in the 600 block of South Dayton Avenue on January 4 around 11 p.m.

Witnesses told police White was involved in an altercation and may have been forced into a van.  Police said the van was described as a white Ford “work-type van” with no windows and a white ladder rack on top.

White is approximately 5 feet 4 inches and 250 pounds.  He has black hair, hazel eyes and goes by the nickname “Smoke.”
