The National Football League (NFL) is offering 250 die-hard football fans the chance to attend the NFL Scouting Combine 2012 in Indianapolis.
The event will feature more than 300 top prospects for the 2012 NFL Draft, who will participate at the combine in Lucas Oil Stadium from February 22 to February 28. Fans will be able to attend on February 26.
This is the first year the NFL has offered fans the chance to attend the combine. This comes after the NFL allowed fans to experience Media Day and Radio Row during Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis in a way they never did before.
“We want to show you a side of football usually reserved for coaches, scouts, and executives,” read the announcement on 1iota.com. “Be a part of history as the NFL brings you ‘behind closed doors’ for the 2012 NFL Combine.”
In order to become one of the 250 fans selected, you must enter on 1iota.com, the website chosen to help pick the lucky attendees. Fans should include a short essay in the “comment box,” stating why you should be chosen to attend the combine. The website urges fans to provide interesting or unique information that show how big of a fan you are.
To participate, fans must be at least 18-years-old and have a valid ID or passport. If chosen, it is recommended that fans dress in sports attire, showcasing their favorite college or professional athlete’s jersey.
