Police are searching for two suspects responsible for an armed carjacking early Wednesday morning in the Nora area. It happened around 2:00 a.m. at the Chase bank branch at 86th and College Avenue.
The victim told police he was withdrawing cash from the ATM, when two men armed with guns approached him and ordered him out of his car.
"They took my wallet, then jumped in my car and took off," the victim told Fox59 News.
The suspects are described as an African-American male, about 5'7" tall, wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants. He was also described as having short braids. The second suspect is described as a hispanic male who may go by the name "chucky." He was last seen wearing a dark gray zip up sweatshirt. The two were last seen driving south down College Avenue from 86th Street. Police said they got away with $220.
