Police say a man walked in to a Pendleton Diner shortly after 5am this morning and opened fire killing a diner employee.
The shooter then turned the gun on himself.
Police say the murder victim was the ex-girlfriend of the shooter.
The diner is located at 603 E. State St.
The investigation is still ongoing.
Police have not yet named the either of the deceased.
