Indianapolis Police have arrested a man in the shooting death of his nephew.
Police have preliminarily charged Richard Drollinger Jr. in the death of Derich Tanner.
It happened just after 10:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Livingston Avenue Feb. 5. Tanner, 20, died at the scene.
Tanner's death marked the first reported homicide in Indianapolis since before Super Bowl events began back on Jan. 27.
Drollinger has been transported to the Arrestee Processing Center where he is awaiting his initial hearing.
