Lawmakers looking to protect teens hoping for that golden glow debated spray tans at the Indiana Statehouse Thursday.

Legislators heard testimony on a bill that would require minors to get written consent from their parents.

For spray tans applied by a person, the proposed legislation would also require teens to have a parent in the room with them if the teens choose to be partly or completely nude.

The person applying the spray tan would also have to be the same gender as the client.
