Purdue University budget cuts
Purdue says it must cut $30 million dollars from its next budget as state revenues continue to decline.

School President France Cordva says the University could be short $70 million dollars by 2013, if the cuts aren't made.

The school doesn't anticipate more money coming in from the state in the next several years.

A committee of students, faculty and staff has been formed to make recommendations about places to cut spending.
