If you don't want to park and walk there are several options to park and ride.
"Well we're either thinking about catching a cab or taking the bus because it's going to be a lot of traffic and we're not going to be able to get through this," said Michael Oats.
"It's going to be crowded. We don't know where to park, so we're going to just, we're going to go with the flow," said Mattelina Plump.
A good plan but there are a few things to know to help the flow go as smoothly for you and your family.
The Super Bowl Host Committee has designated three park and ride locations. Two are located within the downtown area and a third is out west by Indianapolis International Airport.
The cost for parking and a round-trip shuttle to the center of Super Bowl celebration action is $2 per person if you order in advance online. Kids aged 2 under are free. If you wait until the day of, though, you’ll have to pay $10 per car.
"Everything we do we're going to go half, so we're going to save a little money like that," said Plump.
Shuttles will drop you off on West Washington Street, just one block north of the Convention Center, where much of the pre-Super Bowl action will kick off.
Fans said they are excited even if there is just a tinge of disappointment.
"I wish it was the Indianapolis Colts, but we know that's not going to happen, so good luck next year," said Oats.
In addition, the Indianapolis Zoo announced Monday that nearly 700 parking spots will be available for Super Bowl traffic starting Jan. 27. However, the zoo location is not a park and ride location. Visitors will have to walk from the location.
