LINTON, IN—
The parents of a little boy who died from a crash at a southern Indiana rail crossing are filing a lawsuit against the railroad company and county officials.Six year-old Christopher Perez suffered head injuries in 2008 when a train struck the car he was riding in. He died 10 days after the crash. His parents claim that the Indiana Railroad Company and Greene Co. officials knew the crossing was dangerous.
They also say residents reported concerns about the crossing repeatedly before the fatal crash.
