IMPD is investigating an armed robbery of a liquor trailer where a man was beaten and handcuffed before the suspects fled.
It occurred at National Wine and Spirit at 700 West Morris Street around midnight.
The 54 year old victim from Wisconsin was waiting to have the contents of his 53 foot trailer unloaded when he was pulled from the cab by two black males in ski masks armed with handguns. The man was physically assaulted and handcuffed. The suspects then disconnected the refrigerated trailer and attached it to another tractor before fleeing.
The trailer is white in color with ID #R1171 on the back. The name 'Kreilkamp' is also on the trailer.
The extent of the loss is unknown at this time. The victim is being treated at Methodist Hospital.
